Technology

AAMT standards to ensure high quality transcription work
to the healthcare Organizations. We have a comprehensive
quality policy in place, and no file leaves the server
till it meets accuracy standards. The QC process
involves ensuring that accuracy levels are built-up as
the transcription work progresses.
Medical Transcriptionists are divided into Teams each
headed by a senior MT called the Team Leader. 100% of
the transcribed reports are proofread/edited to attain
the necessary accuracy level of 98% to 100%. In case
doubt/blank still exists the files are sent to a QC to
fill up the blanks and ensure the document is of high
quality.
We also have a Quality Audit team which randomly picks
up edited files and does a check to ensure that we are
meeting the quality standards. About 20% of work done on
a daily basis is randomly audited.
We also have a very focused recruitment program and
unless the candidate clears the defined parameters they
are not absorbed by Ascent.
